Quest BeveragesProject Type: Produced, Commercial Work
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Packaging Contents: Sparkling Mineral Water
Packaging Substrate / Materials: Aluminium Can
Calm & Stormy Sparkling Mineral Water was born from our quest to change the future of beverages. We aim to help people live a healthier lifestyle by providing better-for-you drinks. We aim to help the planet by using more eco-friendly packaging.
We source our pristine Australian Spring Water from deep beneath a dormant volcano, in the central highlands of Victoria. During a 30 year journey, rain water filters through volcanic rock, becoming infused with natural minerals. For our fruit juice blends, we source locally grown fruit; Blood Orange from Griffith, Tasmanian Raspberry from the Derwent Valley and Pink Lady Apple from Officer.
We package our mineral water in a tall slimline 300ml can for the environmental benefits and for a better consumer drinking experience. Aluminium cans have a much higher recycling rate than plastic and can be infinitely recycled. In fact, 75% of the aluminium ever produced is still in circulation today. In turn, we avoid using nasty plastic bottles that are polluting our planet. Cans also have the benefit of cooling down quicker, staying cold longer and retaining the carbonation for longer.
Calm & Stormy delivers a design and product that stands out in the crowd. Presented in a matte black and pastel colours, a tall slimline can, with minimalistic graphics reversed out to subtly reveal the natural aluminium beneath. The back of the can educates consumers on the unique quality and source of our spring water through a short but engaging story. The benefits of using cans is communicated creatively through the use of simple icons.

Lesters was founded in 1931 in Montreal. More than 85 years later, the time had come to refresh its branding so that its packaging stood out from the competition on grocery store shelves. Thanks to a refreshed, dynamic graphic identity and a nostalgic but entertaining photographic approach, the brand celebrates its heritage in the spirit of “fun food.”
The logo was slightly updated but maintains its vintage feel. The story-driven photos featuring the products are complemented by a colourful, structured design system that ensures Lesters distinguishes itself on crowded store shelves.

From Fruit Nature, the client wants to present the original fruit of dried fruit, and after thinking about the market difference and the challenge of self-illustration, I decided to paint the light fruit that I saw with brilliant colors.
The rolling type of the side waves symbolizes the fluttering of the dried fruit water, which also allows consumers to quickly attract attention. After touching the package, the paper can be found to have different touches. It uses 230P high-color painting paper and four-color printing on the printing. Characteristic silver, water light, hot stamping, the characteristic silver of the background highlights the meticulousness of the illustration.

Quinta Maria IzabelLocation: Matosinhos, Portugal

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass bottle, paper
Printing Process: High reliefs, stamping, screen printing, gloss varnish
The view over the Douro Valley is one of the most breathless landscapes one can experience. Quinta Maria Izabel, an emblematic estate located in the Douro Demarcated Region, the first in the world, is no exception. Now, you can assess it, since their scenery, once portrayed in a painting the brand affectionately keeps in their estate, was transposed to the labeling of Quinta Maria Izabel 1001 wine, by the hands of Omdesign.
As the painting was offered by a close friend, this project was a reward of this pleasant gesture. Sharing a bottle of wine is also a synonym for friendship.
Quinta Maria Izabel 1001 wine has this particular name because there were made precisely 1001 bottles of Quinta Maria Izabel Grande Reserva wine. Nothing more, nothing less.
Showing the shapes of the Douro Valley throughout contrast, textures and reliefs, both the painting and the label enhance the important meaning of the Douro River thru the colour associated with passion, wisdom, magic and grandeur. The special painting that Quinta Maria Izabel keeps in their estate was perfectly transposed to the labeling, with all of its special details, as well as the magnificent and premium aspect that it conveys. In order to reproduce it without loosing its texture, squareness, brightness and deepness, Omdesign chose a background fine paper with 3 different layers, to accurately mirror the painting and its components, namely the shapes and frame.

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Plastic
The PRODO group of companies, the largest agricultural manufacturer in Russia, appealed to branding agency Funky Business to redesign its Rococo brand.
The agency was tasked to make the product more attractive to target audience — people who value the quality of ingredients for homemade dishes. We achieved this with a new visual packaging concept. Food photography has become an important design element. On the packages we created patterns of ingredients for cooking. This kind of food-styling awakens imagination: spices, fruits and vegetables, invite to experiment and amaze guests with Rococo.
The product line “Kitchen of the World” takes its name from recipes of the famous regions of the planet. Dishes are presented on plates, allowing you to present exquisite products in your kitchen. Laying out ingredients, post-cards from different locations and finished product allows to expand the line and add new recipes from around the world.
We concentrate on USP: «Rococo» is not just a high-quality chicken product, it is a refinement in cooking. We combine the original cursive font and minimalism. We retained recognition for loyal customers and gave the brand opportunity to speak the language of a modern person and meet their needs. Important information is presented on the front, selling the product in literally seconds of reading.
New Rococo packaging is example of how the right visual concept can tell a story and highlight product on the shelf. We get the image of a premium, exquisite and high-quality product, which it is.

We rebranded this product as Kabaki, established a new branded look and story around its superior antioxidant and other therapeutic benefits. We developed a backstory of sustainability and development aid to Kenyan tea farmers and communicated the story through all launch vehicles (packaging, website, sell sheets, POS, sampling booth, etc).

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass Bottle, Labels
That Hippie Co. is an independent Australian health company. They produce sustainable, vegan and organic products to help consumers look after their gut-health. Their products provide consumers the opportunity to access new-age health rooted in old world wisdom to live a more healthy, holistic life.
Our Revolution was engaged to develop the new packaging design for the range while thinking about the potential to introduce additional products into the portfolio.
Jen Doran, Creative Director at Our Revolution, said: "That Hippie Co has a distinctive tone-of-voice that needed to be reflected with equally distinctive packaging design. We explored the world of a ‘hippie’ and sought to combine the aesthetics of their environment with the meaning of taking care of your gut health.
The lava lamp was symbolic for visually representing gut health. The soft, slow moving shapes provided a visual language that spoke to the product, benefit and brand.”
Andrew Doenicke, Director at That Hippie Co, said “We are delighted with the new look for That Hippie Co. The packaging design is a reflection of our brand. Our Revolution understood our brand vision and is helping us to fulfil our ambition by setting the right foundation for future growth.”
Since the new design has launched, the brand is now distributed nationally across Australia through leading health food stores and is continuing to grow.

A cultural melting pot of times and social origins that results in colors, shaping and dissonant typographies which assembled form an harmonious identity.

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Aluminum foil bag
Printing Process: Flexography
Organic Republic is a new brand of 100% organic puree of fruits and vegetables, free of preservatives and additives, for babies and toddlers. Their goal was to enter the main supermarkets and organic stores in Lima, so the agency's job was to design a modern and striking packaging, different from the standard category .
We use a white background to transmit the purity of its production, creating a fun and friendly image where the main characters are small animated fruits and vegetables with expressive looks. We use real photographs combined with illustrations to give them movement and differentiate them by colors according to the stages: 3, 6 and 12 months.
The font used is fun and with movement, very readable and easy to identify. The back panel shows in an organized way, from a review of the characteristics and benefits of organic food to preparation tips, as well as nutritional and legal facts.
