To mark more than 400 years of history of Quinta do Crasto, an emblematic estate from Douro with wines recognized worldwide, Omdesign created and produced “Honore”, a special edition limited to 400 bottles of a very old Tawny Port with more than 100 years.

This highly luxurious edition, inspired by the motto “Honore et Labore” (honour and work) coined by their founder, Constantino de Almeida, aims to pay homage to all those that, since 1615, invested in cultivating the vineyards and creating authentic wines, as Honore.

The creative agency totally designed this commemorative edition, that reflects the lines and the landscape of the Douro valley, where Quinta do Crasto stands guard, and the magnificent crystal decanter individually numbered. The exterior packaging, all produced in walnut wood, has noble finishes, as silver and leather that reinforces the uniqueness of this packaging. All these elements were laboured by the wise hands of Portuguese artisans who focused on detail to make this special edition.

Dr. Oxygen as a brand is in its infancy, which gives us the opportunity to shape the design and the logo of the product together until we achieve necessary harmony. The logo is an amalgam of the Dr. Oxygen brand name and its most crucial component, O4, which plays an integral role in the design.

The design is inspired by water and its depth. The transition, growing ever fainter, mirrors the way more and more light reaches the water as we approach the surface.

    Task:
The client contacted the agency with the task of creating a concept for muffins trademark, as well as asking for assistance in the development of the product itself. We had to invent a way to turn a banal cupcake into something original and then create an original brand image which would “hook” the young audience.

    Solution:

In the process of product development, we decided to make the muffins colored. Due to this, the product has a USP. And in order to demonstrate this unique advantage in the most expressive way, we created a huge “black-and-white” world with many strange and expressive characters. As a result, vibrant colorful muffins have become the brightest and most noticeable spot standing out against the background of this crazy gray world.

    Design: AG Design Agency
    Project Type: Produced, Commercial Work
    Client: Levantes Family Farm
    Location: Athens, Greece
    Packaging Contents: Olive Oil
    Packaging Substrate / Materials: Glass
    Printing Process: Screen printing

Our collaboration was based on the need of creating a Visual Language for a new product line, holding the family’ s values and experiences. From the very first moment, we interviewed all family members. The results setted up a very knit group, with each family member having a clear role and duties. This led us to photograph and then illustrate each member at work, presenting a typical day at the farm.

Mr. Kyriakos ploughs the field, Mrs. Stellina collects with her hands the fruit of the trees, Markos carefully separates the leaves from the fruit and so on. The new brand image of the farm itself is its people and we present them in the packaging and the overall communications of the family business.

At Levantes Family Farm, each member has a strategic role in order to produce excellent small batch crop.

“Filled with olive trees, vines and fabulously fragrant wild lavender bushes, Levantes Farm is a vital part of our family, who has been cultivating this beautiful land with abundant love and care, steadily working together to produce excellent products, whilst respecting its wildlife and wonderful biodiversity.”
